I was looking through some of my old posts and I realized over 1/2 of the photos are broken :/  Maybe Ill try to fix ‘em today.. maybe not.

I’m fasting. Well, juice fasting. Two juices in and I’m starting to see the light. This is my all veggie creation Im having for lunch. 2 sprigs of Chard, 1 Tomato, 1 Celery stalk, and 1 carrot sure beats the white peach, tomato, lemon disaster I made this morning.

After finding my cancer is reluctant to DIE after a few treatments, my doctors have decided its best to cleanse/detox my body and bring it to “zero” before my next treatment. So I’ll be eating juice and bentonite clay for the next week. No fun but I guess it could be worse….somehow? Good thing I like veggies, even when theyre pureed

I touch my ear or pick up my phone so people think I’m just bluetoothin’

I realize this is the worst photo ever but im too lazy to take another. Heres the round 2 sketch of what I previously (only) knew was going to be a large painting. Ryan gave me the dimensions today… something to the tune of 8 FEET! Im going to do it all in acrylic. Im generally scared of acrylic because its so much less forgiving than sloppy ,ridiculously fun, watercolor but painting something like this with water color would be nearly impossible. This will be the largest piece of my art yet and Im kind of nervous/excited/freaked out im going to mess it all up. I start painting Wednesday morning and am aiming to be done by thursday night. Cross your fingers. Ill post more updates as I progress.

The Sound of Progress Party tonight/The Pinzon wedding on Sunday are 2 excellent reasons to buy/need a new pair of shoes..only the 20 bucks left in my checking account seems to disagree. Luckily, I have a pair of fawn colored Cathy Jean booties I bought last season (only worn twice because the “TO DIE FOR” color wasnt so to die for once I got them home). Luckily, Im somewhat capable. Luckily, I grew up with a mother who was laundry-challenged and therefore very very familiar with Rit fabric dye.

Supplies:
Booties
Rit dye in “Black”
2 paint brushes
“Metallic Silver” acrylic

this project is pretty self explanatory, follow the directions on the rit packet, only use a tupperware container and not your washing machine, paint the dye on, let them dry, paint the zipper to match. Im doing metallic silver because it reminds me of these killer ACNE wedges Ive seen floating around on every fashion blog under the sun. I havent added the acrylic to the side zipper yet. Ill post more photos when I’m done. Wish me luck!
