So in the last 2 days I got like 200 tumblr followers, no complaining but where in the world are you all coming from?! I can’t figure it out?
Tone and I plan out all of our outfits. Which is only weird because he is a cat and looks horrible in bodycon dresses. I got stuck tumblr-i ng this morning(2pm) for hours, this is what I saved to my desktop.

Where do you call home? What do you love / loathe about it?
Long Beach, CA. I love how “rough around the edges meets laid back” it is and that I can get a horchata on nearly every corner. It’s also nice to have local spots to drink at where your bound to run into friends. Actually, that’s also something I loathe about it. It’s hard to get lost when you feel like it.
How do you spend your days?
Hungover? No. Well kind of, heh. I’m sort of a work horse these days. I’ve been getting a lot of freelance design jobs recently, graphics and denim. I’m also working on a side project for myself that I’m really excited about. I’m fitting and getting my photo taken to float my bills. I’m busy, my head’s spinning but it’s a good thing.
You’re a rock ‘n roll babe at heart, tell me about your work in the music industry?
Ah, when I was 18 the allure of selling t’shirts and traveling around with loud metal bands got the best of me. I spent the following 3-4 years doing that. Not having an apartment or really any responsibility was the best thing I could have given myself at the time, plus I kind of felt like a cool kid. Chasing the dream landed me in Los Angeles working at a record label that as a teenager I would have given my right arm to even know the address of. Life happened for a bit and I had to leave but I haven’t had tapped out on the music industry as a whole. I plan on getting back to it eventually but I’m taking the next year or so to do this whole design thing because … why the hell not? I’m going on tour again in November with a band who’s wikipedia page scared my mom, I can’t wait.
What do you love / loathe about what you do?
I don’t even know what I do … I kind of just float and there’s nothing better than that.

Something my bestfriend and I learned in highschool. You should always keep a backpack in your car full of the essentials. Youll never know when that time comes that you wont be sleeping at home and who wants to run around the next day with dried out mascara, dirty undies, fuzzy teeth, and god knows what other problems. Seriously. It takes about 5 minutes to pack and it will prevent you from looking a little less “Courtney Love circa knee deep in a heroin binge” and a little more “possibly just slept in her car”. And that makes a world of difference.
Sounds like hell. Its is. But only slumps sleep til 12 and youll never get anywhere in life sitting around. If you go out, drink til you puke and can’t swing making it to work at 9am its best to stay in. Seriously, wake up or I hate you.
During the period of my life I spent sleeping in a van I nearly bathed in this stuff. Its 1.99 and can fix just about any weird smell that comes with showering every 3rd-4th day BUTTTTTTTT, most importantly, that expensive bottle of dry shampoo you just bought is full of talc. In fact, thats whats eating the oil up out of your hair. I like to think most of my friends already know this trick but just in case you havent stumbled upon this gem.. you’re welcome.
If you started dating a guy who travels for work ie: tours, skate/bike trips, cell phone sales in Japan? do not bitch when he is gone all the time. Its hard, I know, but if you dont flex with this he will start to resent you. Just because you’re around now doesn’t mean he is going to be. Chances are you were probably attracted to the lifestyle he led in the beginning, he was “cool”. You signed up for this. So, sit back and enjoy all the things you can get away with while he’s not in town. Dont be a slut but things like wearing too short shorts, drinking with your girlfriends and falling asleep in the hallway with no one home to judge your antics all fall perfectly into this category.

I played on a mountain, wearing nothing, in 30 degree weather a few months ago. Those shoes weighed 30lbs and my feet had to be greased to get into them. All that aside, the people that were there are some of my favorites. Check out my Versace headpiece.
